My textiles are hand-woven from up-cylcled materials such as old sweaters and jeans. I collect clothing and other materials from thrift stores, and take donations from people across the world.
Unraveling sweaters, and cutting old jeans into strips can be time-consuming, but it is a worthy cause.
I weave on a table-loom driving each individual strand under and over to create abstract and figurative imagery and patterns.
I am inspired by color and composition, and by the potential impact a piece can have in the space where it lives.
Please contact me with any questions, or to discuss an idea for a commission. I am always happy to work with you to create a truly unique piece.
